Thursday, 30 SEP 2021, Lt. Col. Sorin Șoană relinquished the Command and Colours of the NATO Force Integration Unit Romania to Cdr. (Navy) Jaime Baron, during a change of command ceremony at NFIU HQ, located in Bucharest, Romania.
The ceremony was presided over by the MND-SE Commander, BG Cristian Dan, who entrusted the NFIU Romania Colours to the Deputy Commander of the Unit, Cdr. Jaime Baron.
After almost two and a half years as the Commander of NFIU Romania, LTC Șoană will now be fulfilling a position in the European Union.
