Today, a Polish CBRN platoon arrived in Romania through Nădlac border crossing point and started the movement to the National Joint Training Center, Cincu. The Polish CBRN platoon is in support of the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) and will participate in the NATO exercise Steadfast Defender 21 along with other members of the Alliance.
NFIU Romania plays an important role in supporting the reception, staging and onward movement of the Allied troops within Romania.
Steadfast Defender 21 is a multinational NATO exercise aimed to enhance the cohesion of the Alliance and the interoperability between armed forces of NATO countries.
