The representatives from two non-NATO countries, Ukraine and Georgia, were welcomed today, 26 May 2021, at NATO Force Integration Unit Headquarters, after visiting Multinational Division South East Headquarters. During the visit, the non-NATO observers were briefed not only about the NFIU’s role and missions, but also about the key responsibilities during the Exercise Steadfast Defender 21. The event provided an important chance to strengthen the cooperation between NATO and the two partner countries and confirmed the Alliance’s transparency regarding the Exercise Steadfast Defender 21.
