On 13th of October, a Bulgarian-Romanian delegation led by Brigade General Zdravko Ivanov Pehlivanov of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence visited NFIU Romania. This visit was part of a joint coordination effort between the Romanian and the Bulgarian Ministries of Defence.
The activity was a good opportunity for the Bulgarian officers to receive information about the particularities of our unit, our role and place within the wider NATO efforts for peace and security. The meeting was followed by a productive discussion related to the current challenges in NFIU Romania’s Area of Responsibility.
