The NFIUs are a vital link between Host Nations and the Allied NATO forces deployed on their territory.
To further enhance this link, NFIU ROU’s Commander, Col. Ioan Tiberiu COJOCARU meet between 15-16 March 2023, with the commanders of the Allied Military Contingents deployed into Romania from Poland, Portugal and North-Macedonia.
The current status, roles, responsibilities and capabilities of our unit were highlighted, followed on by information exchange regarding the relationship with the Host Nation as well as the support that NFIU ROU could provide for planning and execution of the rotations/deployments and training activities of the contingents.
The visit moved in the training area, in a tactical environment, enriched by weapons expositions and continued with fruitful discussions.
