“Thanks for an educational and interesting session. You have greatly helped us understand the roles, responsibilities, capabilities and limitations of the NFIU!”, said Major General Joseph P. McGee, Commander of 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), after visiting our unit.
This US Division has currently six battalions and almost 3.100 soldiers in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovakia, serving under the motto “Win where we fight”.
Together with NATO forces, the 101st Air Assault Division will contribute to increase security on the eastern flank of the Alliance.
