Today, we welcome the second contingent of our Turkish allies to Romania. This is the main echelon within the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) to participate in Exercise Steadfast Defender 21 and has arrived to Romania by land, through Giurgiu border crossing point. They will be stationed in Bucharest, continuing their movement to the National Joint Training Center, Cincu. The first echelon arrived in Romania on 12th of May.
NFIU Romania plays an important role in supporting the reception, staging and onward movement of the Allied troops within Romania.
